A whiff of volatile acidity does not really materially diminish the appeal of the earthy and markedly sauvage-inflected aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that display a top note of various floral elements

It s firing on all cylinders but certainly has another decade or more of prime drinking

the acidity a little lower than the 2010 and the tannins softer

It still has a deep colour with little ageing on the rim

Yquem other_regions complete CristalHigh notes of volatile acidity. Thick, layered, dried fruits with a strong animal and damp hay note. Not as complete as the 1962 tasted alongside, if you please. (RH)
